Selected Bestsellers

Byron has published hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books, gift products, children’s books, and multimedia products at Word, Thomas Nelson, Integrity and Worthy. Many became national bestsellers in mainstream retail at Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.

He founded the imprint, WordKids, which transitioned into industry leader Tommy Nelson, and he then launched J Countryman gift books.

Of note, the global bestseller, Jesus Calling, was imagined and published by Williamson at Integrity Publishers in 2004. Young’s titles have now sold over 46 million copies, now with Harper-Collins Christian Publishers.

The books below represent a few of Byron’s bestsellers that helped reinvent Christian books in global publishing.

Adult Trade Titles
This brief list of notable books represent only a few of the New York Times and USA Today bestsellers, many selling a million copies or more, that Williamson published over the years.

Children and Young Adult Books
These titles represent just a handful of the bestselling children’s books Williamson’s teams conceived and published from the mid-1980s through 2019. At its peak, Williamson’s launch of Tommy Nelson, which he spun-off WorthyKids/WordKids, achieved annual revenues of $25 million.

Bibles and New Translations
Williamson conceived and directed the development of two new translations—the multi-million copy selling International Children’s Bible (ICB) and the New Century Version (NCV), including The Everyday Bible edition. Over the years he also published major study Bibles with Max Lucado, John MacArthur, and David Jeremiah.
